South Sudan’s Political Parties Council (PPC) has declared the process of registering political parties ahead of the anticipated 2024 election.

The council’s chairman, James Akol Dhiak, announced this Tuesday at the UNDP headquarters.

Dhiak stated that this was in preparation for the upcoming elections in December 2024.

He urged unregistered parties to expedite the process of their participation in the general elections.
